Convert your images in 4 simple steps

Click 'Choose Files' or drag and drop your images into the upload area. Supports JPEG, PNG, WebP, GIF, TIFF, AVIF, SVG, HEIC and more.

Choose the output format from the dropdown. Set quality and other options from the Settings panel.

Hit Convert All to batch-process all files at once. Up to 3 files convert in parallel so large queues finish fast.

Download files individually or grab them all as a ZIP. Everything runs in your browser — no uploads to any server.
Convert PNG images to BMP (Bitmap) format for use in Windows applications, legacy software, and development environments that require uncompressed pixel data. BMP is Windows' native raster format and the most universally accepted option for older Windows tools. Free, private, and processed entirely in your browser.

No. Both PNG and BMP are lossless formats — every pixel is preserved exactly. Unlike JPEG conversion, no compression artefacts are introduced. The BMP will be pixel-for-pixel identical to the PNG input (transparency is replaced with white since BMP has limited transparency support).
Standard BMP does not support alpha transparency. Transparent areas in your PNG will be replaced with a white background in the BMP output. 32-bit BMP technically supports alpha, but software support is inconsistent. If transparency matters, keep the file as PNG.
PNG uses lossless compression — it reduces file size while keeping all pixel data. BMP stores raw uncompressed pixel data, so a 500 KB PNG may become 5–15 MB as BMP. This is expected — the BMP file is just uncompressed and stores each pixel individually.
Some legacy Windows applications, older versions of industrial and manufacturing software, certain embedded systems development tools, and older CAD programs require BMP. Most modern software accepts PNG, making BMP conversion necessary mainly for specific compatibility scenarios.
Yes. Upload multiple PNG files at once and convert them all to BMP in a single session. Download them individually or as a ZIP archive.
