Choose the output format from the dropdown. Set quality and other options from the Settings panel.

Download files individually or grab them all as a ZIP. Everything runs in your browser — no uploads to any server.
Convert JPEG images to WebP and reduce file sizes by 25–35% with no visible quality difference. WebP is Google's modern format now supported by all major browsers — it is the easiest way to improve your website's page load speed and Core Web Vitals scores without touching a CDN or server. All conversion happens in your browser.

Yes. Chrome (since 2010), Firefox (since 2019), Edge, Opera, and Safari (since iOS 14 / macOS Big Sur) all support WebP. In 2024, WebP is safe to use for all website visitors. If you must support very old browsers, use a <picture> element with a JPEG fallback.
Typically 25–35% smaller than an equivalent-quality JPEG. A 500 KB JPEG photo might become 320–375 KB as WebP at the same visual quality. For large image libraries, this can translate to significant bandwidth savings.
WebP is better for SEO because smaller, faster-loading images improve Core Web Vitals scores, particularly LCP. Google explicitly recommends next-gen formats like WebP in PageSpeed Insights. Faster pages get a ranking boost in Google search results.
At WebP quality 85–95%, the visual difference compared to the original JPEG is imperceptible in photographs. WebP also supports lossless mode (100% quality), though lossless WebP files may be larger than lossy ones. For web use, quality 80–90% is the sweet spot.
The most compatible approach is using the HTML <picture> element: <picture><source srcset='image.webp' type='image/webp'><img src='image.jpg' alt='...'></picture>. This serves WebP to supporting browsers and JPEG to older ones. Many WordPress plugins and CDNs handle this automatically.
